My name is Pablo Rodríguez Castro. I live in Sanchez, Curridabat. I from Costa Rica, therefore, I am costa rican. I am a student. I study Computer Engineering in ULACIT. I am 21 years old. I like to play soccer and watch TV in my free time. My favorite food is pizza. I love to go to movie theater when I am in vacations.
I have a mother, her name is Nozara and I have a father and his name is Mario, but unfortunality they are not together since the year 2002. I live with my mother only since that year. However, my aunt Leticia and some cousins mine are our neighbors.

What did I do when I was a child?:
I lived in Los Filtros, Alajuelita. I studied in the Abraham Lincoln school. I was 7 years old. My teacher was Doris Navarro Sonta. I played with other children that were there in the neighborhood. They and I played soccer and videogames. Also, we watched TV, we watched programs such as "Tom y Jerry", "Barney", and "Teletubies". My childhood was very happy, because I had many friends and I had a lot of fun.
Third review (deadline: august 3rd):
What will you do be able to do when you graduate?: I will be able to work about my career. I will be able to be a computer programmer. And maybe I will be able to fix computers.
What will you do in the future?:
In the future I will finish my courses of this quarter. After that I am going to matriculate the next quarter and I have thought to approve its courses and I am going to do the same with every quarter. After I will finish my career and I am going to work. Then I will know a woman that I like her and maybe I am getting married. Also I want to have children, I am going to educate them, I would be husband and father. Furthermore, they will grow, they will study, they will work, and possibly they are going to have a family as me. If that happens, I will become grandfather. And unfortunalety I will die eventually. Hopefully that happens when I am going to be old.
In addition, in the future it will increase technology. Therefore, probably there will be robots and flying cars.

What am I doing in the present?: I am studying Computer Engineering. This quarter I am taking the courses: English I, Discreet Math, and Multimedia and Internet. Nowadays I don't work, I just study.

I was wrong in write "waiting lists" betwen of the second sentence. I had to write it at the end of the sentence.
In the second sentence of the second paragraph I write "a" instead of "an", I negleted me, I know that if the next word begins with a vowel, I should write "an".
Also in the 13rd line I had to write "be more carefull" instead of "take more care"
After "In conclusión, " I should write the definite articule "the".
Furthermore, in the last line, I had to write "take care ourselves" instead of "take more take care"

In the third line I had to write "Pablo met" instead of "Pablo knew to".
In the sixth sentence I should write "Pablo went" instead of "Pablo was".
In the fifth line I had to write "he went" instead of "he was".

In the second paragraph:
In the second sentence I should write "also" after "he".
In the third sentence I had to write "he" back "rarely".
In the fourth sentence I should write "at ULACIT" instead of "in ULACIT".
In the sixth sentence I had to write "Next" instead of "In the next" and "about takeing" instead of "to take".

In the third line, I shouldn't use coma (,) after the word "fingers".
And in the fourth line, I should write "whose" instead of "what".
The video is about some people that they have bad education and bad habits.
And therefore they have to change.
I think that this video is true, because sadly we live in a world that there are many
people that have these behaviors. 2.Describe what
activities the kids do in these videos. Be very specific. Do you think children
learn by seeing? If so, who do think children learn from?
a) I watched in the video that some people talk for phone and they hit it. Other
people smoke and going up the electric stairs and after that they throw their
cigars and put it out. Other people throw up garbage in the street, others shout,
other people fight, and others throw stones.
b) Yes, I do. I think children learn by seeing.
c) I think to children learn from their parents.
3. What is a role
model?
A role model is someone who has whatever kind of habits and behaviors. But
generally a role model is a good person and of good principles.
4. Who is your
role model? Why? Give an example.
My role model is a person who has good habits and a good life. And that person
is a good example for the others.Because I would have a good life if I were like
that person.
An example is my mother, she is my personal example because she never
gives up when she works. And she gives a lot effort. Unfortunately my mom wins
little. I think to she wins less that the base salary. But while we have money for
buy food, everything is well. It is worth. And I thank God for that.

About Graphic Organizer I learned to write the most important things and key words instead write everything. Also, I learned to write one main idea and its three supporting details in order to summarize. I learned some vocabulary, I learned some words such as "surround", "manners", "behaviors", "church" and "experiences". And also I learned the pronunciation of the word "education".

I learned new vocabulary such as role model, behaviors, principles, effort,
unfortunality, values, manners, church.

was the most interesting piece of information? Why?
The children topic and their role models. Because the things that children learn,
who learn them from, and how learn them have a lot of importance beacause
children will be the future adults and their acts will depend of their learned
behaviors for they becomes in good people or bad people.
What
activity was the most beneficial one for you? Why?
The presentation of the exposition. Because I learned a lot of vocabulary and I
learned to form main ideas and supporting details in english about some topic.
What
new language structures did you study?
Simple present tense.
How
would you evaluate your performance and your classmates´?
About myself I worked well and I learned a lot. And about my classmates also I
think they worked well, but I think it costs them. For example the grammartical
structures and the pronunciation, although it costs me a little bit too.

the video? Costa Rica has many issues, such as traffic jam, holes in the streets, and landslides, And this video shows some of those. Therefore, we have to think in possible solutions.

No, I dissagree. Because this video talks about some problems of Costa Rica, and usually problems cose more problems if people don't solve them. What other problems do you
think the country has? I think the country has unemployment, huge waiting lists in the hospitals, corruption, and crime. Which problem do you think
is the most important? Why? I think the problem most important is huge waiting lists in the hospitals. Because health is first and sometimes there are patients that need urgent appointments becuase they are in a critical status and they risk of dying if a doctor doesn't attend them soon. How do you feel when you
see that our country appears in the news because of negative issues?
I feel sad for that country and its population.
·What is the country doing to improve its roads?
The country is fixing some streets and is thinking to implement the Alajuela train with a trip
from San José in order to there isn't traffic jam.

My classmate and I chose to talk about unemployment in Costa Rica. And I chose this
picture because one of the causes is the discrimination of the minorities as women because
sometimes they get prenant, people over 50 years old because they usually get illnesses, and
people disabilities because employers think they will work deficiently.
Solutions:
The government should create more vocational high schools.
The government must analize what the country really needs and avoid globalization.
The government can help national microenterprises to become stronger than
microenterprises international.
The gobrernment has to low borrowing rates.
The gobernment may attrarct more tourists to visit Costa Rica.

No, I don't. Because I use it few. However, when I went to the high school, I checked Facebook almost every day. Not now.

type of entertainment do you like? I like to watch TV and to watch movies. Because those things are entertained. What
are you going to do to have fun when you become an adult? Why? I am going to programme. I am going to design computer programs. Because I am studying Computer Engineering.

do people your age do for fun? Why do you think they do that? Some people play soccer, other people play video games, others use Facebook, others watch TV and others go to movie theater. Because that is fun, exciting and interesting. Has
entertainment changed? If so, how? Yes, has changed. Before people played children played traditional games such as pitch and toss, hidden, frozen, and jump the rope, but nowadays those games have been cahnged by video games. What
do you think people will do in the future to entertain themselves? I think they will play video games more sophisticated, thanks to technology.
Second part of this project: Homework: Do some research on some form of entertaining. 1. What type of entertainment did you choose? Why? I chose Facebook. Because I like it and I know it a lot. 2. What is it about? Who practice it? It is a social network. People use it through internet. This practice it teens and adults.
3. What are the pros and cons of that form of entertainment? The pros are: comunicate with friends, using a study and work network, and comunicate through groups. And the cons are: addiction, loss of time, and silly publications. 4. What do you think about that form of entertainment? Why? I think Facebook is important because it is a media, but it also can be malicious because some people use it for cyberbullying. 5. Compare your selected form of entertainment with your partners.

She writes in Facebook that hasn't see to her child during 3 years, the bed of the dog is better than hers, she works many hours every day. She is being exploited like being slave.

What was interesting about the video?
Unfortunality she is being exploited like being slave.

does the video remind you of? Explain.
The video remind me my step father work during 12 hours per day, 6 days per week. And he just has 1 free day. Therefore, he has a few free time in order to do other things such as sleeping, cooking and washing. He also is like a slave, although I see the Lala case is worse. Have
you ever met someone who does a lot of housework? If
so, explain what he/she does.
Well, yes, I have. A few years ago we had a maid in the house. She had to do almost all housework. She washed the dishes and the clothes, she cleaned the floor, and she cooked.
How
is it different from the video?
My parents are always very considered, therefore, I think they didn't exploit her. And I think they payed her good. Furthermore, we tried her good, and she was of confidence. The difference is that Lala doesn't have rights thanks that awful job. On the other hand, our ex maid yes had rights and a better job.

There are many forms of slavery and my classmate and I chose child slavery.
But there are also several forms of child slavery, such as child work, chaild labour, worst formos of child labour, child trafficking, and child marriage.
Children shouldn't work. They just should play. However, we unfortunately live in a world where there are
many bad people and they force to children in order to work and other things.
About this project I learned about modern slavery and child slavery. There are many bad people who do awful things to children. All them should be in jail.
